Journey

This has been a dream of mine for years! It has been shaped and formed and reshaped in my mind a thousand different ways. Though the dream has taken many forms in my mind throughout the years, the premise has been the same....how can I show the world what I see when I see a pit bull?
This journey started 12 years ago when my husband brought home a pit bull. My first reaction was fear, I was the mother of three young children and was expecting our youngest daughter, I had never been around a bull bred dog of any type, I had no real knowledge to base my fear on, only what I had heard. Twelve years ago I was one of the people I am trying to educate now.
This is the journey to redeem this amazing breed. To rescue as many death row and abused and neglected bull bred dogs as is reasonably possible.
Provide medical, training, shelter and love at our facility before putting them in homes with our fosters and then after thorough examination of applicants provide them with proper loving homes as members of a discrimination free world.
This is the journey to redemption.
